The Central Library of Agriculture - the largest academic library in the field of agriculture, includes around 162 thousand text books, an estimated 820 manuscript items, and 905 research journals, around 60 e-books. Access to this collection is provided by nearly 12 library staff members who operate in 3 library halls.

By the decision of the Governing Board of the university the English name of the university as entitled “Mongolian state university of agriculture” been changed into “Mongolian university of life sciences” in July 2014.
